FOUNDER & HEAD OF DESIGN - CECILE HEUNIS
Welcome to So Kreate Studio - A Design, Digital & Photography Studio.
Founder, Cecile Heunis, received her Bachelor of Arts in Information Design from The University of Pretoria in South Africa.
Skilled in a broad spectrum of creative services, she started her career with Ogilvy South Africa, where she worked on leading brands naming; UI and UX design for KFC, Social Media Marketing Viacom (MTV and Comedy Central), Above the line advertising for SAB Africa (Castle & Castle Lite), DStv Multichoice and Canderel to name a few.
Since, Cecile decided to open So Kreate Studio with a vision for the studio to be a 'creative hub' encompassing everything needed in the creative industry.
Our philosophy is based on a quote by Leo Burnett:
"Make it simple, Make it memorable. Make it inviting to look at. Make it fun to read."
HEAD OF DIGITAL - MADELEIN HITZEROTH
Madelein is our Head of Digital and helps create digital solutions for our clients.
She is a driven information designer that works hard to achieve intricate, delicate design work. She strives to create designs that are concept grounded, idea driven, socially conscious and impactful.
Madelein sees design thinking as a valuable tool to optimise user experience and create designs that the end-user can understand and use with ease.
For her, however, design is not all serious and heavy. She tries to find the lighter side of each project, push as much positivity into it as possible and make the customer journey a worthwhile journey.
